Isuzu Motors SA is refreshing its locally built D-Max bakkie and imported MU-X sports utility ranges with new paint colours.
The vehicles are being aligned with Isuzu’s global product strategy, and the adoption of the new colours is the next step for an enhanced and expanded range for the SA market, says Kevin Fouche, Isuzu department executive: planning and program management.
“This rollout of new paint colours will be seamlessly integrated into the ongoing vehicle production process. Commencing from February 2023, as the current paint stock depletes, the new colours will be introduced without causing any inconvenience or disruption to our valued customers,” adds Fouche.
The new colours, to be introduced between now and February, are:
Islay Gray (replacing Son of a Gun Gray)
Splash White (replacing Summit White)
Red Spinel (replacing Pull Me Over Red)
Mercury Silver (replacing Switchblade Silver)
Onyx Black (replacing Black Meet Kettle)
Biarritz Blue (replacing Blue Me Away)
Dolomite White
Isuzu continues to offer Desert Orange and Safari Beige in its colour options.
The previous generation Gen 6 D-Max will be available only in Splash White, Mercury Silver, Red Spinel and Biarritz Blue. Safari Beige continues as a special value offering on Gen 7 Base, L and LS models.
