Fire risk moves Volvo to recall 500,000 vehicles globally
The recall affects nearly 3,000 SA cars produced between 2014 and 2019 with a 2.0 litre, four-cylinder turbo diesel engine

Volvo is recalling 507,000 vehicles worldwide because of a faulty engine component that, in extreme cases, could result in a fire.
The Swedish car maker says this is a preventative recall to avert any possible future problems, and said its own investigations have identified that “in very rare cases the plastic engine intake manifold may melt and deform”...
