Honda has added the BR-V to its local line-up, which sees the Mobilio MPV being dispensed with, writes Lerato Matebese

Honda SA has this week launched its versatile BR-V MPV with an SUV persona. Thanks to the slightly raised ground clearance and plastic cladding, it looks set to offer a fairly decent package for a family looking for a value for money proposition. According to the company’s vice-president, Graeme Eagle, the BR-V (which was first shown in concept form at the Indonesian motor show in June 2015) was designed alongside the Mobilio MPV, which was launched here in 2014, and will now be dropped from the local line-up following the launch of the BR-V.
