ONLY a few weeks after the conclusion of the Geneva Motor Show, all attention was turned to the New York International Auto Show. Before the first press day, we were rather sceptical as to whether there would be anything new but, lo and behold, there is plenty.As we await the arrival of the Audi R8 coupe in July, the chopped roof Spyder version was unveiled at the show. Available in both V10 and more powerful V10 Plus variants, expect the model to be slightly heavier than its tin-top sibling, largely due to the extra body stiffening to quell body flex and scuttle shake.
