WITH very little fanfare Tata Motors has launched a new next-generation range of Prima commercial vehicles in SA. The company has introduced six new tractors and tippers, all powered by Cummins engines. The company says that the new models are based on local market requirements and customer feedback, with several test cycles conducted in SA.Developed in conjunction with its subsidiary Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles, the truck is known within the company as the "World Truck". This name came about because it has been built with technical inputs from across the world.
