Inventing Anna — Netflix
Shonda Rhimes’ latest offering is this fast-paced, twisty tale based on the true story of German con artist Anna Delvey, who from 2013 until her arrest in 2017 charmed and hoodwinked the cream of New York’s upper set, defrauding them, luxury hotels and banks of millions of dollars. Based on a New York magazine article by Jessica Pressler, it’s the story of how the journalist became interested and then obsessed with discovering who Delvey really was and how she’d managed to get away with it for so long before she was finally caught...
