Vodacom has presented investors with a mixed bag when it comes to its first-half results. On the one hand, it reported a marginal gain of 1.1% in headline earnings per share (HEPS), but cut its dividend by 1.3% on the other hand. Its data revenue from SA has outpaced voice revenue for the first time and its Safaricom acquisition is beginning to yield results.
