Unemployment in SA is on the rise, sitting at 29%, placing further strain on the country’s already ailing economy. Avon SA says direct selling may help to address the country’s unemployment crisis. Business Day spoke to Mafahle Mareletse, MD of Avon Justine, the second-largest direct-selling business in the country by market share in the beauty and cosmetics sector.
