The Investing in African mining Indaba is set to take place in February. The event plays host to key decision-makers from government and the private sector, which have been at loggerheads over the new mining charter. How will this conflict affect next year’s event? The Chamber of Mines boycotted the Joburg Indaba that took place in early in October because the disagreement over the charter had reached boiling point.
