PLATINUM miner Wesizwe has appointed two new nonexecutive directors.Li Pengfei is an executive director of the Investment in China Africa Development Fund, and Zhou Xiaoyin is in-house counsel for the Jinchuan Group, Wesizwe said in its Sens announcement on Wednesday.The two new directors represent the Chinese shareholders that hold 45% of Wesizwe’s stock.Jinchuan is a diversified and vertically integrated mining and metals company founded 50 years ago, while the fund is a Chinese government initiative established in 2007 to support Chinese companies operating in Africa.Wesizwe said Pengfei had 16 years of multinational experience in project valuation, investment instruments and project implementation, and served on several boards of project companies in China.Xiaoyin had "extensive experience in international law matters", the miner said.
