THE CEOs who recently met with Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and President Jacob Zuma want one major thing — and that is action, AngloGold CEO Srinivasan Venkatakrishnan says.While he did not attend the meeting with Mr Zuma on Tuesday, Mr Venkatakrishnan was part of a delegation of about 60 CEOs of major companies in SA who met with Mr Gordhan last week.A sense of growing urgency to tackle deepening economic problems in SA has seized the business community and the government. Both sides want to avert the rating downgrades expected if SA continues o n its current trajectory."There is huge support from the business community for what Pravin is trying to do," Mr Venkatakrishnan said.
