KIBO Mining on Monday announced it is prioritising its gold and coal exploration projects in Tanzania.Releasing its results for the 15 months to December, the Johannesburg-and London-listed firm said in prioritising the Rukwa coal project and Haneti coal and platinum group metals project, it was deferring exploration work at its other projects — Lake Victoria, Morogoro and Pinewood — to next year."Scoping at Rukwa will commence in the second half of 2013, which will run in parallel with completing a full strategic partnership agreement with Korean East West Power company," the company said in a statement.Kibo has received support from the Tanzanian government, which has pledged it will assist in the development of the infrastructure for the Rukwa coal-to-power project."I remain confident that our mineral assets present an attractive investment option, particularly bolstered by our 109-million-tonne Rukwa coal deposit and plans to develop a mouth-of-mine thermal coal plant," Louis Co...
