We’re living in a world of monetary expansion. This is being lead by the US Federal Reserve, which is promising to continue juicing the markets with liquidity in an effort to stem the economic destruction wrought by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Much of that liquidity is finding its way into financial markets. This is most clearly evident in equity markets, where a V-shaped recovery has occurred off the March lows, despite the weak economic environment.
