BUSINESS DAY TV: Aggregates and construction materials supplier Afrimat has reported a 25.3% rise in headline earnings per share (HEPS), that’s to 95.2c in the six months to August compared to a year ago. The company says it’s on the back of a strong performance in its mineral producing operations. Andries van Heerden, CEO of the company, joins us now in the News Leader studio. Andries ... not many companies (are) able to boast double-digit growth in the current environment, how much of what we’re seeing come through is acquisitive growth and how much organic. Because while revenue was up 15%, excluding acquisitions, almost half of that coming through at 8%, while volumes remained pretty flat. ANDRIES VAN HEERDEN: Yes.
