Oil and gas company Erin Energy Corporation reported revenue of $28.6m for its third quarter to end-September. The Houston-based company reported a net loss of $23.5m from $58.7m in the year-earlier period. CEO Segun Omidele said the focus for the third quarter would be on restructuring the company’s balance sheet and increasing production. The company said it had reached a daily production average of 6,100 barrels of oil during the period compared with 10,200 barrels in the year-earlier period. The company has interests in energy resources in sub-Saharan Africa and its asset portfolio consists of nine licences in four countries.
