Ride-hailing company could face expulsion from its most important European market on Tuesday

London — Time’s almost up for Uber Technologies in London, with the city’s transit authority set to announce as soon as Monday whether it will grant the ride-hailing company a new licence to operate.
If Transport for London (TfL) decides against Uber, the company could face expulsion from its most important European market on Tuesday. A new long-term licence would provide a level of certainty that Uber and its about 45,000 London drivers have not experienced in years...
