Tritech Media, founded by the Kirsh family, is eyeing further expansion into emerging markets following the launch of its international unit. The company announced on Wednesday the establishment of Tritech Media International, a new unit to house its international assets. Tritech Media International operates in India, where it distributes prepaid digital content through Stellr India, Colony Live in the US, GoMetro in the UK and some European countries. It is also expanding the FetchThem business in the US. Tritech Media CEO William Kirsh said that with Tritech’s unique technology, "there is an attractive opportunity to commercialise our technology in select international markets, which are substantially larger and more digitally advanced than SA".
