She asked the Big Small Business Show panel’s guidance on better stock control processes, assistance with effective forecasting in terms of stock procurement, as well as how to make inroads into the ethnic hair market. The panel — made up of small business experts Allon Raiz, Monalisa Sam and Kumaran Padayachee — asked Irwin what her business strategy was. Irwin said the company preferred to sell directly to customers rather than to salons in order to make the products more affordable for their clients.
