Parliament sends condolences to family of Free State legislature speaker Sisi Mabe, who died at weekend at age 47 PARLIAMENT on Monday sent its condolences to the family of Free State legislature speaker Sisi Mabe, who died at the weekend."Speaker Mabe served the country faithfully in a variety of portfolios including that of MEC for public works and rural development in the Free State and prior to that, MEC for health, also in the Free State," Parliament said in a statement.Mabe, who was appointed speaker of the Free State legislature in May, died following a long illness on Sunday.
