President Jacob Zuma has warned critics of South Africa and his administration against over-simplifying their analysis and criticism of the challenges facing the country. Zuma said while he was not against criticism‚ he pleaded with his and the country's detractors to stick to the facts‚ also calling for acknowledgement that South Africa was a unique country with an equally unique history in which a white minority oppressed a black majority. Zuma was addressing a crowd of at least 4‚000‚ dressed largely in ANC regalia‚ at a Free State provincial government-sponsored event to close the 16 days of activism campaign against women abuse in Bethlehem.
