In a strongly worded statement, the Treasury has called out Eskom, saying the state-owned enterprise has been actively resisting its efforts to investigate coal contracts between it and the Gupta-owned Tegeta company.The statement comes a day after Gordhan vowed to fight corruption and theft to the death after the Hawks attempted to force him into a meeting to receive a 'warning statement' and rumours of his imminent arrest swirled.The statement said: "National Treasury has also noted with concern the statement issued by Eskom on Sunday 28 August 2016 suggesting that it has been co-operating with the process of reviews of the coal contracts.
