This critical analysis of the ANC in power over the past 22 years contends that the liberation struggle has been “corporatised” and that those in leadership have allowed themselves to be sucked in by money and the “capitalist elite”. McKinley is a Johannesburg-based writer, researcher and lecturer. He has a long activist history in community-based social movements.
