London — Britain’s top anti-terrorism officer said six addresses had been searched and seven people arrested in connection with Wednesday’s deadly attack on Parliament. "We have searched six addresses and made seven arrests. The inquiries in Birmingham and other parts of the country are continuing," Mark Rowley told reporters outside London’s police headquarters. Nonetheless, the attacker was acting alone and there was no information pointing to a further threats to the public, he said. Sky news earlier quoted unidentified sources as saying British police had made several arrests in a raid on a house in Birmimgham as part of an investigation of the attack. Four people were killed and about 40 injured on Wednesday when a car ploughed into pedestrians and a suspected Islamist-inspired attacker stabbed a policeman close to Britain’s parliament.
