Mamelodi Sundowns have now set their sights on the Fifa Club World Cup in December after winning the African Champions League in Alexandria. South African Football Association (Safa) president Danny Jordaan said club owner Patrice Motsepe and coach Pitso Mosimane deserved all the accolades they are receiving. Motsepe and Mosimane had "led from the front"‚ Jordaan said. Qualifying for the event was " a historical first for a South African club", he said. The event will take place in Tokyo from December 8-18. Mosimane’s Brazilians will line up against some of the world’s best clubs and they could earn an estimated minimum of R5m for participation.
