AB de Villiers is still the captain, coach Russell Domingo confirms

Adelaide — Coach Russell Domingo has added his voice to those confirming the imminent return of AB de Villiers as South Africa’s captain — despite the stunning success of Faf du Plessis in the role. Elbow surgery forced De Villiers out of South Africa’s most recent series‚ a home one-day rubber and a Test tour‚ both against Australia. Under Du Plessis‚ South Africa became the only team to inflict a 5-0 ODI series loss on the Aussies and came within a single win of being the first side to hammer them 3-0 at home in Tests.
