Where do comrades go when they want to introspect? Look no further than public forums — lectures, debates, social media and suchlike — instead of the ANC’s own internal structures. The governing party made an undertaking immediately after the 2016 local government elections that it would introspect about its worst showing at the polls since 1994. But that was then.
