SA escaped a potentially catastrophic credit downgrade to junk on Friday after S&P Global Ratings held the country’s foreign currency sovereign credit rating at BBB-, the lowest investment-grade rating. The rating agency kept its outlook negative. Here is the full rating from S&P:
