Coastal areas continue to experience exceptional house price growth as more people flock there in search of better life balances and service delivery, according to real estate agency Pam Golding Properties. Pam Golding Properties CEO Andrew Golding says while SA's economy is struggling, and residential real estate is under pressure, certain suburbs and nodes are performing well. "To say it’s been a tumultuous year for the planet is definitely an understatement and yet in the face of a sluggish and uncertain domestic and global growth environment and ongoing socio-political challenges, the residential property market in South Africa is still resilient and remains a bright spot in an otherwise lacklustre economy," said Golding at a media lunch on Thursday.
