BID Corporation, which was unbundled from Bidvest and separately listed on the JSE earlier this year, has reported a 32% jump in headline earnings per share in the year to June to R10.80, boosted by the weaker rand.On a constant currency basis, headline earnings per share rose 14.2%.As a result of the separate listing in May, Bidcorp has provided pro forma financial information to provide insights into group performance.Group revenue in the review period grew 20.8% to R140.5bn, boosted mainly by its UK and European operations."Bidcorp’s businesses continue to perform well across the world, with solid organic growth in home currencies in very low inflation environments," chief executive Bernard Berson said in a statement.Revenue in the UK rose 27.8% to R61bn while trading profit increased by 27.3% to R1.4bn.
