South African tech start-up, Delvv.io, will compete in the Start-up World Cup Grande Finale in San Francisco’s Silicon Valley in the US on Friday, the only African finalist in the competition for global recognition and a $1m prize. The Johannesburg-based creative research start-up provides a technology platform for rapid external feedback for marketing and creative campaigns. The firm, which was launched at the beginning of 2016, uses a database of more than 100,000 creative professionals from around the world, allowing for "peer review" before or after marketing campaigns. Delvv.io won the African leg of the competition in November and will compete against 15 other regional winners at the finale. Judges at the event include Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and tech marketing guru Guy Kawasaki.
