Brett and Mark Levy are joint CEOs at Blue Label. BUSINESS DAY TV: Blue Label Telecoms has reported a 54% jump in net profit on 3% revenue growth for the six months to the end of November, with accounting gains really working in its favour. That’s as it’s switched its Indian subsidiary Oxigen from a long-term investment to a venture capital investment. Joining us in the studio now, joint CEOs Brett and Mark Levy. How much of the earnings growth that we are seeing right now is actual growth in the business and not just clever accounting working to your favour? MARK LEVY: Organic growth was 15%, so from a board perspective management we had a great six months and we’re very proud to report that the 15% of the 52% you see as we moved the Indian operation came from more organic and sustainable growth.
