Advtech grows portfolio with Elkanah House deal
The deal boosts the group's presence in Western Cape's private education segment

Private-education conglomerate Advtech appears to be studiously expanding its core schools operations in the Western Cape. The company announced on Thursday the acquisition of Cape Town-based Elkanah House. No deal value was disclosed, but the transaction markedly bolsters Advtech’s presence in a Western Cape private-education segment dominated by rival private education entities Curro Holdings and Reddam House. Before the Elkanah deal, Advtech’s presence was limited to two Abbotts College campuses in Cape Town, as well as the recently acquired Glenwood House in George.
